Refund Policy

1. Overview

Covrly offers three subscription plans: Starter ($199/mo), Growth ($499/mo), and Scale ($999/mo), billed monthly through Paddle. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request them. All subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term contracts.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans (Starter, Growth, and Scale). If you are not satisfied with the Service within 30 days of your initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked.

The 30-day window begins on the date of your first successful payment. Renewals after the first billing cycle are not covered by this guarantee.

2.1 How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@covrly.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and the date of purchase
  3. We will confirm eligibility and process your refund within 5 business days

2.2 Refund Timeline

Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method via Paddle within 5–10 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

3. After 30 Days

Subscription payments made more than 30 days ago are non-refundable. If you cancel after the 30-day window, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you retain full access until then, but no refund is issued for unused days.

Exceptions may be made at our discretion if the Service experienced a verified outage or material failure to deliver. Contact support@covrly.com with details and we will review your case.

4. Cancellation vs. Refund

These are two separate actions:

  • Cancellation: stops your subscription from renewing. You keep access until the end of the billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days. Cancel anytime from your Billing page.
  • Refund: a return of payment. Only available within 30 days of initial purchase, or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

5. Plan Changes

If you upgrade or downgrade between plans:

  • Upgrade: takes effect immediately; you are charged the new plan rate at the next billing cycle.
  • Downgrade: takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the price difference.
  • Document and seat limits revert to the new plan's limits at the start of the next billing period.

6. Refund Ineligibility

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The request is made more than 30 days after the initial purchase
  • The account was used in violation of our Terms of Service
  • A refund for the same subscription period has already been issued
  • The request is for a renewal charge (only the initial purchase is covered by the guarantee)

7. Organization Subscriptions

Covrly subscriptions are purchased at the organization level. Invited team members (including client-role users) do not have separate billing relationships with Covrly. The organization owner is solely responsible for the subscription. Refund requests must be submitted by the organization owner.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@covrly.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in account suspension. We will always work in good faith to resolve billing disputes.
